Santiago de Compostela's road:
If you wish to do a stage of Santiago de Compostel's road, from our barn you can leave your car to Aumont Aubrac and we will bring you to Saint Alban sur Limagnole to start your hiking.
St Alban – Aumont Aubrac (15,2 km – hiking: 5h)
St Alban sur Limagnole and its' Romanesque church built on an old monastery to complete the Margeride crossing.
All year long you will discover wonderful landscapes although this hiking can be rude during the winter time.
You will walk along the pastures dotted with granite rock and walk down to Les Estrets, a village in the Truyère valley. All along the road you will see many crosses. You will then arrive to Aumont Aubrac with it old Benedictine's priory church. The church still owns Romane parts in spite of many transformation. |
